- Description: Provides a range of job training opportunities for young adults. Programs integrate:
- leadership development
- comprehensive support services
- high school educational programming
- college enrollment with on-the-job vocational training for construction, warehouse operations, and culinary arts
Programs provided include:- The Fresh Start is a cafe at the Juvenile Justice Center. Young people learn customer service skills and the principles of operating a successful social enterprise.
- The construction program trains young people in carpentry skills. Also builds affordable homes in the community.
- The culinary program prepares breakfast and dinner for homeless community sites. Also serves as nutrition for onsite trainees. Trainees are also supported to enroll in college to further their educational and employment skills.
